The latest episode of the Paddock Pass Podcast sees Steve English take the chair to lead a discussion of the state of MotoGP with Adam Wheeler, Neil Morrison, and David Emmett. We kick off with the news that Jack Miller is to move to the factory KTM team, to partner Brad Binder. We ponder why he had to move, and what it means for KTM. We also ask what it means for Miguel Oliveira, and where he might end up, and take a wider look at Silly Season and the rest of the rider market.

We also saw rumors of BMW as a possible new factory in MotoGP, taking the place of Suzuki, and we did deep into why that will or won't happen. We discuss why factories go racing in MotoGP in the first place, and the money it takes to compete. We then get into a discussion of overtaking, comparing what's going on in MotoGP and in WorldSBK, where passing seems to be much easier. And we finish up with a quick preview of the Sachsenring, and a wild stab at who might win with Marc Marquez absent.
