It's been a busy week at Chateau Paddock Pass Podcast, with two shows in a week. After previewing the 2019 WorldSBK season, Neil Morrison traveled to Jerez to cover the Moto2 test at the track, where he joined David Emmett to talk about the MotoGP test at Sepang.

There was plenty to talk about, as the Sepang test had a raft of fascinating narratives. Neil and David go through each factory, and evaluate what they were testing and how it turned out. We discuss how much effect the fact that Honda had to test with the walking wounded had, and whether the Honda RC213V is more competitive than the timesheet shows.

We talk about Suzuki, and just how far Alex Rins might be expected to go, and how Suzuki managed to claw their way back from a disastrous year in 2017. We ask whether Yamaha really are on the right path this time, and whether the change in spirit in Yamaha can turn their fortunes around after a tough 2018.

We have plenty to discuss about Ducati, of course - apart from the astonishing pace set by Pecco Bagnaia. Ducati came with a host of gadgets and upgrades, and we debate what they might be, or whether they are just visual trickery by Gigi Dall'Igna to pull the wool over the eyes at the test.

Finally, we look at KTM, how Johann Zarco's arrival affected the Austrian factory, and how they will find a balance between Zarco and Pol Espargaro. We also spare a few words for Miguel Oliveira, who impressed at this test.
