After a controversial end to the first WorldSBK race at Jerez, Steve English and Gordon Ritchie sat down to discuss the events of the Saturday. They kick off with a discussion of the clash between Jonathan Rea and Alex Lowes, in which Rea hit Lowes, causing the Yamaha rider to crash. They then have a long discussion of why Alvaro Bautista is so fast on the Ducati Panigale V4R, and how much of that is down to understanding how to use the Pirellis.

That naturally leads to a discussion of why Chaz Davies is struggling with the Ducati Panigale, and what Ducati are doing to help the other Ducati riders improve. Yamaha have already gone through that with the Yamaha YZF-R1, and Steve and Gordo examine how the Yamaha riders have changed their styles to succeed, as Michael van der Mark demonstrated all weekend. Then there's a discussion of where Kawasaki stands at the moment, as well as how much improvement BMW have made, and how they are struggling with the engine limits, an issue which can affect the Ten Kate Yamaha squad, as they have made their names as engine tuners.

There's a debate over the process by which Rea's penalty was imposed, and then Steve interviews SMR BMW rider Tom Sykes.
