On the Sunday night after the race, Adam Wheeler, Neil Morrison, and David Emmett sat around a kitchen table in a small house just off East 7th Street in Austin to discuss the remarkable and exciting MotoGP race at the Circuit of The Americas.

We discuss Enea Bastianini becoming Mr 50%, as the Gresini Ducati rider wins his second race of 2022, and takes back the lead in the championship. We compare the fates of the factory and satellite Ducatis, and discuss where Bastianini is making the difference. Then we talk Suzuki and Alex Rins, and debate what the difference is this year compared to last year.

We have a long conversation about Marc Marquez, what went wrong at the start, and how he recovered and staged an astonishing charge through the field to go from dead last to finish 6th. And we talk contracts, and try to read the tea leaves of what was said by Fabio Quartararo and Aleix Espargaro about their futures. And as always, we finish up with our winners and losers.
