The Magny-Cours round of World Superbikes generated plenty of controversy, along with some outstanding racing. Gordon Ritchie and Steve English look back at a fascinating weekend of racing in France.

They kick off with a discussion of the progress made by Toprak Razgatlioglu, and how the rivalry with former mentor Jonathan Rea is playing out. Steve and Gordo contrast Toprak's 2021 WorldSBK campaign with Alvaro Bautista's and Scott Reddings in 2019 and 2020 respectively, and ask if the Pata Yamaha rider has the consistency to finally defeat Rea for the championship.

They also take a long look at the track limits controversy, which saw Toprak lose out on his first clean sweep of wins on a weekend. How did the penalty come about, and is it a good idea?
