The WorldSBK championship visited a new track last time out, with the production-based series alighting in Most, in Czechia. In this episode of the Paddock Pass Podcast, Gordon Ritchie and Steve English give their assessment of the track near the German border, and discuss what was good about the circuit and where it really needs to be improved. Gordo and Steve then discuss the importance of the WorldSBK series having different tracks to MotoGP, and which classic tracks could make a return.

They then go on to take a look at the races, and how it turned into a battle between Scott Redding and Toprak Razgatlioglu, with Jonathan Rea unable to make an impact. The discuss the improvements made at Yamaha, who could be racing the Ducati next year, how the BMW is improving, and the deep hole which Honda still finds itself in, despite the direct involvement of HRC.

Finally, Steve English and David Emmett sit down for a special Renthal Street Sessions interview with WorldSBK Jonathan Rea. Rea talks how his position on the bike has changed, and why, his view on racing in MotoGP, and being a motocross dad.
