The WorldSBK championship has come to an end, with Jonathan Rea clinching his sixth title in succession at the final round in Estoril. That means it's time for the Paddock Pass Podcast WorldSBK Dynamic Duo to take a look back at the season, and how it all played out. Steve English and Gordo Ritchie have a lot to talk about.

They kick off with a review of the season, and how it played out after the Covid-19 pandemic forced a huge layoff period between the first round at Phillip Island and the rescheduled and rejiggered 2020 calendar. Who handled the changes well, how it affected a class rookie (but experienced racer) like Scott Redding, and how it threw up some strange but exciting results.

There is of course a long discussion of Jonathan Rea's title, and how it  came about. There are interviews with Jonathan Rea and his crew chief Pere Riba (both of which contain very strong language, so be aware of that when listening), who both describe how their relationship works and how they turn their teamwork into excellence.

Steve and Gordo take a look at most of the field, to see where they stand. How Garrett Gerloff did in his first year in the class. How Scott Redding fared after his switch from BSB. What is wrong with the BMW, and how strong the Yamaha really is. And they conclude with a summary of the various movements in the rider market, with Chaz Davies out of a job, Michael van der Mark going to BMW, and Andrea Locatelli moving up to the Pata Yamaha squad.
