After yesterday's Estoril WorldSBK show, today we have a MotoGP edition of the Paddock Pass Podcast, looking back at the Aragon round. This episode we have a special guest, as MotoGP photographer Cormac Ryan Meenan joins the show, to add his unique and fascinating insights to those of Neil Morrison and David Emmett.

We start off with a discussion of how the conditions made it really hard to choose the right tires for the race, and how Fabio Quartararo ended up with the wrong tire pressure for the race. Cormac adds his insights from actually seeing riders out on track while shooting, which means he picks up much more directly on riding style, and he points to how Quartararo's riding style is sufficienty different to the other Yamahas to complicate the picture.

We go on to discuss the success of the Suzukis, how Alex Rins used a fantastic start to quickly make his way forward to the front. We talk about how the differing characters of the Suzukis, the Yamahas, and the Hondas contributed to both tire wear and to how the Suzukis could triumph. We ask whether Alex Marquez' podium in the dry at Aragon marks a definitive breakthrough for the Spaniard. And we take a look at how the championship is playing out, and how Joan Mir is handling the pressure.

We then go through a round of news items, including Cameron Beaubier's move to Moto2, and we finish up as always with our winners and losers.
