With the penultimate round of MotoGP, we have a champion at last, Joan Mir finally wrapping up the MotoGP title. Neil Morrison and David Emmett meet over the virtual kitchen table to discuss what happened at the Valencia round of MotoGP in this latest episde of the Paddock Pass Podcast.

We start with the most obvious subject, Joan Mir finally wrapping up the 2020 MotoGP title and being crowned champion. We discuss Suzuki, the character of Joan Mir, and Suzuki's master plan working out. We compare and contrast Joan Mir's attitude and that of, for example, Jorge Lorenzo, who made an appearance in the championship press conference after the race at Valencia. And we take a look at Mir's history and back story.

Then we take a look at the race. We discuss the battle between Jack Miller and Franco Morbidelli which turned into a thrilling battle, and how Morbidelli came out on top. We also compare and contrast the fates of Miller and Morbidelli to their counterparts in the factory Ducati and Yamaha teams, and ponder what that means for 2021 and beyond for those factories.

We then turn to KTM's successful weekend at Valencia, with three bikes in the top six, and ask whether Pol Espargaro will be able to get the win with KTM that he has been chasing before leaving for Honda next year. Neil gives us a rundown of the Moto2 and Moto3 races, and predicts who will clinch the titles in those classes. And we finish up as always with our winners and losers.
