After two episodes looking back at MotoGP, it's time for the WorldSBK arm of the Paddock Pass Podcast to take a long look at the year in World Superbikes. Steve English and Gordo Ritchie discuss everything that happened in what turned out to be a fascinating and wild year in the premier production series.

They start off with a look at what happened to Ducati. Scott Redding made a huge impact on arrival in the class, but his challenge waxed and waned as the year went on. Steve and Gordo examine what the strengths of the Ducati and Redding were, and where they fell short. They discuss how the season played out for Chaz Davies and Michael Ruben Rinaldi, and what it all means for 2021.

Next they turn to Kawasaki, and Jonathan Rea's sixth WorldSBK title. It wasn't as easy as it had been in previous years, but Steve and Gordo dissect the success of Rea, crew chief Pere Riba, and the Provec squad running Kawasaki's Superbike effort. They also ponder what the arrival of the new ZX-10RR means for 2021.

The Paddock Pass Podcast crew then run through the results of the other manufacturers in WorldSBK. They take a look at how Yamaha fared, and what we can expect from Toprak Razgatlioglu next year. They ponder Honda, and whether the CBR1000RR-R is a competitive enough package. They talk about BMW, and whether the M designation for the BMW M1000RR will make a difference to its competitiveness. And they wrap up with a look at how despite the Covid-19 pandemic, the WorldSBK series still managed to put on a superb show in 2020.
