The Paddock Pass Podcast Crew continue to count down to the start of the 2021 season, this time with a preview of the Moto2 class. Steve English, Adam Wheeler, and David Emmett are joined by MotoGP.com Moto2 & Moto3 commentator Neil Morrison to look ahead to the intermediate class.

Steve, Adam, Neil, and David debate who they expect to be favorites for the 2021 Moto2 title, who they think will will surprise in the class, and what the influx of rookies from Moto3 will add to the class. They discuss the relative merits of Sam Lowes, Jake Dixon, Remy Gardner, Aron Canet, Marco Bezzecchi, Fabio Di Giannantonio, and more. They debate whether Raul Fernandez, Tony Arbolino, or Albert Arenas will finish as fastest rookie. And they discuss the American riders Joe Roberts and Cameron Beaubier.

We take a deep dive into what it takes to win in Moto2 as well, and discuss the size of the challenge facing Beaubier, as he comes in from riding Superbikes in MotoAmerica. We discuss how the Triumph engines have changed Moto2, and how the class has evolved over the season. And we have an interview with Triumph product manager Steve Sargent about Triumph's plans for the future, and the benefits they have seen from Moto2.

Highlight of the show is the interview with Moto2 title favorite Sam Lowes. Lowes talks about his success in 2020, and what changed to make it possible. He talks about the lessons learned through his tough year in MotoGP with Aprilia, and how he views a return to the premier class. Lowes as as honest as he was insightful.

Finally, we offer our hostages to fortune by giving our predictions for both 2021 Moto2 champion and the rider we expect to be a surprise.
