On the eve of the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, David Emmett, Neil Morrison and Tony Goldsmith gathered in a hotel room in Towcester (pronounced 'Toaster') to talk over the developments in MotoGP's silly season between Brno and Silverstone, and look ahead to Silverstone. We discuss the options for Danny Kent, Scott Redding and Sam Lowes, the new contracts for Bradley Smith and Cal Crutchlow, and ponder the predominance of British riders in the premier class. We then all give our predictions for the three races on Sunday, always a perilous task ahead of practice.

The latest episode of the Paddock Pass Podcast is out. This time, we are looking back at a race, instead of ahead, as MotoMatters.com's David Emmett and Neil Morrison of Roadracing World and Crash.net look back at Brno and go over the latest silly season rumors.

The podcast is still very much in development, which means that the sound quality isn't always great, and there is still no RSS or iTunes feed. We are continuing to work on this, and hope to have a more complete set up in place soon. Enjoy!

The Paddock Pass Podcast is back after a brief hiatus, this time coming to you from the Sachsenring. On the show are David Emmett, editor of MotoMatters.com, and two top photographers: Scott Jones of Photo.GP and MotoMatters.com, and Tony Goldsmith, chief shooter for Asphalt & Rubber.

In a little under half an hour, we cover a lot of ground. Of course we talk about the Assen pass, between Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez, but we also look ahead to the Sachsenring. There's plenty to talk and think about, and the two photogs offer a unique perspective from seeing events up close.

Listen to the podcast here, or download it from Soundcloud. An iTunes and RSS feed is under construction, and should be coming soon.

MotoMatters.com is proud to announce that we have been collaborating on a new project with Jensen Beeler and Tony Goldsmith of Asphalt & Rubber and Steve English, MotoGP reporter for MCN. Called The Paddock Pass Podcast, it is a half an hour or more of discussion and banter about MotoGP, featuring MotoMatters.com founder David Emmett, Tony Goldsmith and, if we can get them, selected guests.

After an early tryout, the first official episode looks ahead to the Barcelona round of MotoGP. We take a look at Honda's problems, who can beat Jorge Lorenzo, what Valentino Rossi needs to do, the prospect of more horsepower at Suzuki, and much more.
