In the latest episode of the Paddock Pass Podcast, Steve English and Neil Morrison get together to take a long look back at the second WorldSBK at Aragon last weekend, and a short look ahead to MotoGP at Misano.

Steve and Gordo kick off with a few words on what to expect, and whether using the alternative layouts which Aragon has would have spiced things up a bit.

Another MotoGP round at the Red Bull Ring in Austria, another bunch of incident-packed races, and another Paddock Pass Podcast to chew it all over. In this edition Neil Morrison and David Emmett try to make sense of everything that happened on the second successive week in Spielberg.

There was plenty to talk about. Neil and David go over another thrilling finish, the race decided in the final corner as it so often is at the Red Bull Ring. We talk about KTM's success, with Miguel Oliveira getting their second MotoGP win in three weekends, the first for Portugal, and the first for the Tech3 team. We discuss Pol Espargaro vs Jack Miller, whether the Suzuki is the best bike on the grid, and how Joan Mir was foiled by a restart.

The first round of MotoGP at the Red Bull Ring, the Austrian Grand Prix, was so wild from start to finish that we had to get a show out early. On Monday, Steve English, Neil Morrison and David Emmett got together virtually to discuss the events of the Austrian weekend for the latest episode of the Paddock Pass Podcast.

This week's episode of the Paddock Pass Podcast is something of a bumper episode, with racing happening both in the Czech Republic and in Portugal, but fortunately, the Paddock Pass Podcast crew have both MotoGP and WorldSBK covered.

The latest episode of the Paddock Pass Podcast sees Steve English and Gordon Ritchie take a look at the return of WorldSBK. The World Superbike riders took over the garages vacated by the MotoGP teams the week before, and put on a show to match them, giving Steve and Gordo lots to talk about.

They start off taking a look at how Jonathan Rea held up on the return of WorldSBK, and how he addressed the challenge posed by Scott Redding. They look at how Alex Lowes handled a tougher weekend for the Kawasaki rider, but still managed to find something on Sunday. Of course they spend a lot of time discussing Scott Redding's strong weekend and his takeover of the WorldSBK championship.

With the second MotoGP race of the 2020 season in the books, the Neil Morrison and David Emmett spend this episode of the Paddock Pass Podcast looking back at the Gran Premio de Andalucia, and the events which surrounded it. We kick off, unsurprisingly, with Marc Marquez' abortive return from injury, how he did it and how he ended up not racing.

Next, we turn to Yamaha, the other massive story from the weekend. Fabio Quartararo grabbed his second win in a row, and did so convincingly. Valentino Rossi also made a return to the podium, a massive turnaround in his fortunes. And though Maverick Viñales finished second for the second race in a row, we couldn't help but feel that there was something lacking in his performance.

Finally, there is real racing to talk about on the Paddock Pass Podcast, and so Steve English, Neil Morrison, and David Emmett debate everything that happened at the reopening round of MotoGP at Jerez. There is of course the big news of Marc Marquez' injury, the reigning champion breaking his arm. We talk about how it happened, and what it means for the championship.

Then we take a look at all the talking points from the weekend. What does Fabio Quartararo's first win mean for MotoGP? Did Maverick Viñales make the right tire choice? Can Valentino Rossi fix his problems with the rear tire?

With the MotoGP paddock assembled once again at Jerez, racing is on the verge of starting again. On Wednesday evening, after the test at Jerez had concluded for all four classes racing this weekend, the Paddock Pass Podcast crew got together to discuss what happened at the test, and what to expect from the resumption of racing. Steve English and Neil Morrison are down in Jerez on commentary duties for the WorldSBK and Moto2 and Moto3 classes respectively, while David Emmett looked on remotely and lived through the entire Zoom remote debrief experience.
