There may not have been any racing at Silverstone, but if anything, that gave us more to talk about, rather than less. In this episode of the Paddock Pass Podcast, Neil Morrison and David Emmett mull over the events that led to the non-event that was the British round of MotoGP at Silverstone.

Obviously, the big topic of discussion is exactly what went wrong. We walk through the sequence of events which led to the postponement of racing, from the resurfacing back in February to F1 in July to the rain in FP4 which saw Tito Rabat fall and be so badly injured by Franco Morbidelli's Honda, and then to the rescheduled race start and the eternal delays which eventually saw all racing called off.

Episode 81 of the Paddock Pass Podcast is out, and in this edition, Steve English and Jensen Beeler get together to talk a little bit more World Superbike action, before the season returns from its nearly two-month long summer break.

In the show, the boys talk about some of the big stories going on in the World Superbike Championship right now, and we chased down a number of riders to get their perspective while at the Laguna Seca round.

After the epic race at Assen, and then another intriguing round at the Sachsenring in Germany, Neil Morrison and David Emmett get together to discuss where MotoGP stands as the 2018 season reaches its halfway point.

There's another episode of the Paddock Pass Podcast out, and this one is a corker. WorldSBK commentator and Paddock Pass Podcast regular Steve English sat down with Jensen Beeler of Asphalt & Rubber to go over the state of WorldSBk at the US round of World Superbikes at Laguna Seca.

In a fascinating and wide-ranging conversation, Steve and Jensen cover the present state of the World Superbike series, and where it is going in the future. They start off in Phillip Island, and the expectations of the season at the opening round of the year, then go on to discuss how all that has changed over the course of the first half of the season.

The Grand Prix of Catalonia in Barcelona may not have been a classic race, it did throw up plenty of talking points, and in the latest episode of the Paddock Pass Podcast, Neil Morrison and David Emmett discuss what went on at the race at Montmeló. We obviously have to start with Jorge Lorenzo's win on the Ducati, his second in a row and reminiscent of his years at Yamaha. We take a look at what changed for Lorenzo, and how he went from struggling so badly at Buriram to winning back-to-back races at Mugello and Barcelona.
